Reporting Standards

Follow APA 7th edition reporting standards. Report effect sizes (Cohen's d, η², r) and confidence intervals alongside p-values. Pre-registration of studies (OSF or AsPredicted) is strongly encouraged and must be disclosed in the Methods section.

Open Materials & Data

Authors are encouraged to share stimuli, materials, analysis code, and anonymised data on OSF. Open materials/data badges are awarded to qualifying submissions.

Ethics

Ethics approval required. For studies involving children, parental consent and child assent must both be documented.

Word Limit

Empirical articles: 8,000 words. Brief reports: 3,500 words. Review and theory articles: 12,000 words.
